IEEE Metropolitan LA Section provides jobs references to engineers. It serves as a central point of contact for the Press on information needed for legislations affecting jobs in the engineering community in Southern California . Metro LA also provides outreach mentoring and support for LCHS student participation in engineering-oriented events (e.g., science clubs and robotic competition). In addition it reaches out to other schools as requested and as needed such John Muir HS in Pasadena, Clark in La Crescenta, Glendale College. IEEE provides job leads (www.ieee.org/jobs) for students, the general membership and the public.
