Services Provided:
Collects food daily from local markets/shops and delivers to shelters and service centers for the homeless and disadvantaged. Sponsors high school Key Clubs-St. Francis, Crescenta Valley, Verdugo Hills & Franklin; middle school Builders Clubs-St. Bede & Rosemont; elementary school Terrific Kids-St. Bede; and provides $9,000 annually in scholarships to students. Maintains a freeway garden at Angeles Crest-210 intersection. Contributes to local and national youth concerns (Fremont Elementary Special Ed, boy and girl scout troops) and other charitable organizations (Prom Plus, VFW, YMCA, LA Marathon Wheel Chair Div, Ahead with Horses, Jr. Fire Program, Sheriffs Support, etc.); bike helmet & car seat safety program at local elementary & preschools. Supports families at Glendale Veterans Village and Kiwanis Family House. Donates books to LCUSD and Glendale USD elementary school libraries. Collects funds for KI "Maternal Neo-natal Tetanus" project" and “Pediatric Trauma Prevention.” Participates in LCF Fiesta Days by providing the annual French Toast Breakfast to citizens.
